This song was inspired by my mother who was collecting (animal) bones at the time. I wrote it in the Pines near Lone Rock, WI

The Crone Collects Bones.

The Crone gathers the bones uh-huh
She reads the symbols on the stones uh-huh.
She gathers up her herbs. You may say it is absurd, but she can cure you of your ills so you can shake those nasty pills. She is the Crone.

You are Maiden, Mother, Crone.
So, Goddess gather up your bones.
Embrace the wisdom of the Crone.

And the town folk, they fear her.
And they don’t know why.
Whenever they come near her
They won’t look her in the eye.
They call her a Witch but they don’t know what it means.
She is their healer. Wise Woman Medicine Queen…..of the bones.

She can call your spirit home.
Do not fear….the wisdom of the Crone.
