This song was inspired by a prompt from my Songwriter Group where the words "Behind the Mask" needed to be in the song. I wrote most of this while I was in Las Vegas. It was my first time there and some of what I experienced came thru in the lyrics.

There’s a devastated desperate demon child.

Behind the curtain. Behind the mask.
Drop the I.V. Drip. And just don’t ask.

Where they lurk is…in the circus in your unexamined vault.
